We make glasses first. The display, speakers and battery have to fit inside a frame you would wear anyway.
Why we started
Phones made us look down. We wanted the useful parts of a screen — directions, messages, a caption when someone speaks — without leaving the conversation.
So we started with a pair of glasses and asked what could fit inside them.
Lenses come first
Every VUMO frame takes prescription lenses. The display sits in the lens itself, so an optician can fit it like any other pair.
